In the event that an incorrect price has been entered in error, any order made based on such incorrect price will not be valid. The customer will be advised of the mistake at the earliest opportunity and then have the option either to pay the correct price or to cancel and receive a full refund.
The person who places the order must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for payment of the total cost of the order.
Goods will not be dispatched until full payment has been taken.
We carry out identification checks on all orders to validate the details supplied within your order. This is to prevent against fraudulent card activity and to promote a secure shopping experience. When carrying out checks, we use publically available records such as the Electoral Roll and may elect third party services such as Experian to perform checks on our behalf. Should we suspect fraudulent activity we may need to contact you to verify your information. If your order fail identification checks we reserve the right to refuse your order and cancel any pending payments.
Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.
While we endeavour to ensure the delivery on the date which the customer has requested, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, direct or otherwise, accruing as a result of error or delay.
The customer is responsible for liaising with the courier company (usually Royal Mail) over any missed deliveries and obtaining their package.
If the customer is not home to sign for their delivery, the package will be returned to the courier’s depot where the customer will have a limited time to collect. If the package is not collected, it will be recovered from the courier and returned to Chains of Gold at the customer’s expense. A refund will automatically be issued for the order value less the initial delivery and subsequent recovery costs.
